Stronghold Counseling Services in Sioux Falls was created in 1993 to offer hope… the hope of real healing for those hurting in a broken world. Healing never takes place alone. Many times it is the result of deliberate, intentional, caring service from committed professionals with years of experience… professional counselors who have already helped hundreds in similar situations. This hope is the foundation of the Stronghold experience. As part of the Kairos University Mental Health community, we remain an independent local clinic while benefiting from the training, collaboration, and resources of the broader network.

Services
The mission of Stronghold Counseling Services is to dispense God’s grace while providing services that are clinically astute, sound, and at the highest level of excellence. Everyone is welcome. This is a safe place. Stronghold is about healing. The kind of deep healing that happens when therapy resides on the spiritual level, addressing all the elements that make up the whole person. Our services are offered in person and through a telemental health platform.
We offer a broad range of services and counselors to help with whatever you need. From struggles with kids, to marriage and family, to addiction, and mental health issues, we have someone who can help.
Our services include mental health counseling, marriage and family counseling, child counseling and play therapy, relationship counseling, addiction assessment and counseling, and EMDR therapy for trauma and healing.
