Augustana Student Counseling
Sioux Falls Psychological Services and Stronghold Counseling Services are pleased to partner with Augustana University to provide Augustana students with access to our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and the full range of services we offer. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, or loss, or are having a hard time adjusting to college life, dealing with self-esteem issues, or relationship problems, our team is here to serve you.

Our team of mental health professionals is trained in a variety of areas and is ready to help you address your personal concerns and questions.
Our therapists offer flexible appointment options, including morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Through Augustana Student Counseling, you can see any of our therapists through our secure online platform OR meet in person with the therapists at our two Sioux Falls clinics–Sioux Falls Psychological Services and Stronghold Counseling Services.

Your First Appointment – What to Expect
- Complete paperwork through our client portal.
- Show up 10-15 minutes early.
- Bring your Augustana student ID card (this will verify that no payment is needed).
- Sessions usually last around 45-50 minutes, so prepare accordingly.

Sioux Falls Psychological Services
Sioux Falls Psychological Services is located on Norton Avenue between 28th and 31st Street. From the Augustana Administration building, head east across Summit Avenue and walk through the University Welcome Center parking lot to Norton Avenue. Head south on Norton to the Sioux Falls Psychological Services entrance on the lower east side of Kairos University.
Stronghold Counseling Services
Our Stronghold Counseling Services office in Sioux Falls is located at 4300 S. Louise Avenue, Unit 201. The clinic is just south of 49th Street on Louise Avenue.
Therapists at Stronghold Counseling Services in Yankton are available via our secure telemental health platform.
